By accessing or using www.restinparadise.ie , including submitting death notices, family notices, viewing memorial pages or using any other services offered in the website, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.
Services Provided
www.restinparadise.ie offers a platform where individuals can submit and view death notices, birthday notices, anniversary notices, months mind mass, memorial pages and related content. These services are intended for informational and memorial purposes.
There is also a Service Directory Section for Businesses to add their Services to this platform.
User Responsibility
- Accuracy: You agree to provide truthful, accurate and complete information when submitting a Death Notice, Anniversary Notice, Birthday Notice, Months Mind Mass, Acknowledgment, Business to the Service Directory.
- Content: You are solely responsible for the content you upload, including text, images, spellings, links to funeral webcams, funeral details. This content must not violate any laws, infringe on any rights or be harmful, defamatory or offensive.
- Prohibited Content: You must not submit content that is unlawful, harassing, abusive or in any way harmful or inappropriate. Content promoting hate speech, discrimination or violence is strictly prohibited.
User Accounts
To submit content or access certain features, you will be required to create an account. You are responsible for Logging into your account with your email and a password and it is your responsibility to remember both of these. Each time you Login, a pin number will be sent straight to your email address, when you receive this pin, type it into the appropriate section at the login feature and you will be brought to the Noticeboard. It is up to you whether you choose to upload a Death Notice or a Family Notice (Birthday, Anniversary, Months Mind Mass, Acknowledgement). You fill out the template appropriately on the Notice Template, then pay the fee when you are finished filling out the notice and press ‘Submit’. When you press ‘Submit’ on your notice www.restinparadise will approve it in time (not straight away) and it will be uploaded for the public to view on the website.
The same goes for Businesses who decide to add their services/business to the Service Directory on www.restinparadise.ie
Submission Guidelines
- Death Notices and Family Notices and Service Directory: All Death Notices and Family Notices and Service Directory Notices must comply with our guidelines for respectful and accurate reporting. We reserve the right to refuse publication if the submission violates our terms or is deemed inappropriate.
- Approval Process: We reserve the right to review and approve or reject submissions. The Approval Process will take time. No notice will be uploaded straightaway.
Privacy Policy
Your privacy is important to us. We collect and process personal information as described in our Privacy Policy. By using our website, you consent to the collection and use of your personal information as described therein.
Intellectual Property
All content and materials on the website, including text, graphics, logos, images and software are the property of www.restinparadise.ie and are protected by copyright, trademark and other intellectual property laws. You may not use any content from the website without express permission, except as permitted under these Terms.
Limitation of Liability

We may suspend or terminate your access to the website at our sole discretion, without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms.

We reserve the right to modify or update these Terms at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page with the updated effective date. Your continued use of the website after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the modified Terms.
